This Privacy and Cookie Statement is subject to change. If we amend it we will inform you of this or ask you to approve it again.
What is personal data?
Personal data is information that tells us something about a person or that we can trace back to a person. Such a person may work for an organisation with which Stafa has entered into or plans to enter into a business transaction.
You share personal data with us as a customer, client, supplier, prospect, stakeholder, or when you contact Stafa. Examples include your name, phone number and email address. This includes all data that we can place in relation to you as a person.
Why do we use this data?
Stafa processes your personal data for the following purposes:
What personal data do we process?
Stafa processes personal data about you because you use our products or services and/or because you provide us with products or services, or because it has come into our possession through contact or communication. We have given a summary of the personal data we process below:
How do we store data?
Like many other companies, Stafa has customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. We receive or request information about them, either actively or passively. This data is collected and registered confidentially and the processing of this data complies with the latest legislation and regulations. Stafa thus guarantees the privacy and protection of this data. We store personal data in a secure place (digital or physical) and take all necessary organisational and technical security measures to prevent the loss, misuse of and unauthorised access to personal data.
What special and/or sensitive personal data do we process?
Stafa does not process any special personal data as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), such as data on political opinions, race, religious beliefs, health, sexual orientation and criminal records.
However, it is possible that you will send a photo with your C.V. for Stafa; this is legally regarded as special personal data. You hereby grant Stafa permission to use this for the purposes for which the C.V. is intended.
For how long do we retain your data?
Stafa will not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is collected. We will ask you for permission beforehand if we want to keep it for longer for reasons important to you, us, or us both. After this, the data will be destroyed or deleted from our files after the statutory retention period.
Do we share your personal data with others?
Stafa will share your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our work and in order to comply with any legal obligations. We conclude a processor agreement with organisations that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. Stafa remains responsible for these processing operations. We will ask for your prior consent to share your personal data with third parties for reasons other than the performance of a contract and to comply with a legal obligation.
What about external data processing?
If you have given Stafa permission to approach you for the provision of our services or to keep you informed of new developments (e.g. newsletter), we will use a customised tool to send this communication. Your personal data needed for this communication will be stored with an external processor. A processor agreement has been concluded with this processor stipulating that the data is processed exclusively in connection with the storage of data in the 'cloud' for the purpose of Stafa's online services, the performance of public relations and marketing activities for Stafa, the sending of newsletters on behalf of Stafa and any other purposes that are reasonably related to this or that are determined with further consent. It is laid down in the agreement that this party will store the data in accordance with the legally required security measures and other aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation.
